This year Artistic Directors pianist Peter Donohoe CBE and harpist Gillian Green have created a 12-day celebration of classical music, bringing some of the finest musical talent from Wales, the UK and internationally.
A week of different events from live music, arts, crafts, and Punch & Judy. Music concerts held in the grounds of the iconic castle, plus a soap box derby! Plenty of fun for all the family to enjoy.
The St Dogmaels local producers market was established in 2009, in response to the growing need for fresh local produce from ethical sources. It was initially founded by Hanes Llandoch using funding from the Rural Development Project RDP, enabling the purchase of high quality market stall units and also assisting local producers to test trade new brands and marketing. The pilot study was a success both with stall holders and their new customers and the decision was taken to make it a feature of the St Dogmaels calendar. It quickly grew, necessitating further investment in additional stalls, to our current 18 + stalls.
